Paramount Elementary School

  • Performed site planning, survey and engineering, and construction stakeout for a new elementary school facility (435 students)
  • Included the design and permitting of a 115-space parking lot

Campus Master Planning / Institutional Facility

Central County High School

Location: Ballenger Creek Pike
Frederick Co., MD

Size: 47.0 Acres

Project Description:

  • Provide the necessary planning, survey, civil, and landscape architecture services to permit a 212,000 sf., 2-story public high school with associated parking and athletic areas
  • Complete campus site and improvement plan design including building orientation, parking, athletic fields, stadium, ball fields, stormwater management facility and field irrigation
  • Attended and secured approval from the County Planning Commission
  • 408 parking spaces: 140 staff/visitors, 242 students, & 26-bus loading area

Special Site / Design Considerations:

  • Successful coordination with roadway engineering consultant relocating Ballenger Creek Pike
  • Design accommodated joint use of ingress/egress for school and neighboring property
  • Extensive campus landscape design; headlight glare screening and berming for abutting residents

Martinsburg High School Campus Master Planning

Location: South Queen St.
Martinsburg, W.VA

Project Description:

  • Grading and Drainage for new access road, bus loop and parking lots (132 spaces) spaces, as necessary for the construction of a 23,257 sq. ft. building addition
  • Utility relocation and provide new connection for building addition
  • Rehabilitation of an existing 400 Meter Track around existing football field
